With foreign direct investment increasingly shaping corporate strategy, General Counsels play a vital role in advising businesses on regulatory responsibilities and risks — particularly in cross-border M&A transactions.

The session will focus on practical insights and open dialogue between GCs, public affairs leaders, and Heads of FDI Regulatory Authorities. Key topics include when and how to engage with regulators, how to prepare for regulatory interactions, and lessons learned from sector-specific FDI controls.

Attendees will have the chance to pose rapid-fire questions directly to regulators, in a confidential setting held under Chatham House Rule and moderated by a panel of current and former GCs.

Attendance is by invitation only.
