The official launch of the new French Association on Foreign Direct Investment Control

Cette initiative a pour vocation de rassembler les professionnels du droit, avocats, juristes d’entreprise, banquiers d’affaires, représentants de fonds de capital-investissement, spécialistes des affaires publiques, institutionnels et universitaires, intervenant régulièrement sur les problématiques juridiques et stratégiques liées au contrôle des investissements étrangers en France.

L’objectif de cette association est double :

(1) structurer un domaine en constante évolution et contribuer activement à son développement, par la production collective de travaux de référence (livres blancs, groupes de travail thématiques, publications, etc.);

(2) et par l’organisation d’échanges entre praticiens. Ce réseau se réunira régulièrement, avec pour temps fort les rencontres annuelles du FDI Control Forum.

La participation se fait exclusivement sur invitation.

FDI Control is proud to announce the launch of a new kind of association, the first of its kind in France.

The FDI Control Association brings together a diverse and targeted group of legal professionals in France - from lawyers, in-house counsel, investment bankers, representatives of private equity funds, public affairs specialists, institutions and academics - who deal regularly with legal and strategic issues relating to the control of foreign investment in France.

The aim of this association is two-fold:

(1) to structure a constantly evolving field and actively contribute to its development through the collective production of reference works such as white papers, thematic working groups, and publications; and

(2) to provide a specialised forum for the exchange of ideas, challenges and information between practitioners. The network will meet regularly, with the annual FDI Control Forum meetings as a highlight.
